Same Day Windshields works with insurance carriers to help customers who carry comprehensive insurance coverage in Arizona benefit from an important Arizona state law and insurance regulation. The deductible provision in such a policy is not applicable to windshield replacement claims, so your insurance company will waive your deductible to replace your windshield.

Insurers will pay for all windshield replacement costs – with no out-of-pocket cost to you as a policyholder – if you carry full coverage (comprehensive) glass waiver in Arizona on your vehicle. Insurers are required to offer a $0 deductible for windshield replacement on full coverage policies, and you must have chosen the $0 deductible option on your policy.

Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS) 20-263 states that filing a “no fault” cracked windshield replacement claim will not raise your rates. Here is the exact language in ARS 20-263:

“No insurer shall increase the motor vehicle insurance premium of an insured as a result of an accident not caused or significantly contributed to by the actions of the insured. Any insurer which increases the premium as a result of accident involvement shall notify the insured of the reason for such increase.”
