FAQs
Here are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we receive from customers in need of auto glass replacement or repair. Please call our friendly customer service team for additional questions or to schedule your appointment.
Our mobile technicians provide auto glass repair and replacement services for vehicles in our service areas. We install original equipment equivalent (OEE) glass that matches or exceeds the quality of your vehicle’s original glass, and remove all broken glass and glass fragments from inside your car.
Our experts are able to repair or install virtually any type of auto glass including windshields, back windows, side windows, quarter and vent windows, and even some specialty windows if replacements are available. We partner with the experts at Same Day Calibrations to complete the necessary calibrations of your vehicle’s forward-facing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
This depends, in part, on which window needs replacing and the type of insurance you carry on your vehicle. You may qualify for no out-of-pocket cost on windshield replacement and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration if you carry comprehensive insurance in South Carolina.
For cases in which you need to pay your deductible or will not be filing a claim, we will collect your credit or debit card information when you make an appointment for one of our mobile technicians to visit your location. Our expert customer service representatives will work with your insurance company to confirm the details of your coverage so you can make the best decision on filing a claim.
We also will provide a cash quote if you do not plan on filing an insurance claim. You will not be charged until after the job is complete to your satisfaction. Same Day Windshields guarantees all new auto glass and parts that we install for the life of your vehicle.
No, please don’t. The last thing we want is for our customers to risk injuring themselves doing a task best handled by our professionals. Our mobile technicians have the equipment and training to safely and efficiently remove damaged glass from your vehicle. They will remove large sections of glass and clean up broken glass inside your vehicle as part of our replacement and repair services.
This service minimizes the possibility of our customers suffering an injury. Our technicians have experience handling large, heavy sections of glass as well as tiny fragments so you can avoid the risks associated with these materials.
Unfortunately, not all glass can be recycled, but we recycle auto glass whenever possible and safely dispose of any glass fragments that are not suitable for recycling. We take our role as stewards of the environment very seriously and pursue recycling options at every opportunity.
Social proof of the quality of our work in the form of an honest review is an important aspect of our online presence. In fact, you may have even read through some reviews prior to contacting us for your auto glass replacement or repairs.
We appreciate all honest reviews whether they are positive or not. We recognize that not every customer may be satisfied with their experience. Please feel free to contact us directly if you are not satisfied with any aspect of our products or service, and we will make every effort to make things right.
Keep in mind that we guarantee any new auto glass and parts that we install for as long as you own your vehicle.
